Summing Up
Part of learning about the world around us is learning general rules about the way people behave and the things that people want. If we didn’t use these rules (heuristics), we would be so tired working out how to ask our housemates to pass the salt, we would have to go back to bed. The problem with heuristics is, they can make us a little lazy and unfair sometimes. So I’m going to continue to make an effort to do the extra thinking sometimes so that I treat people fairly, equitably, and even-handedly.
